"Beret's: The gift that keeps on giving a Memoir written by Ashlee Wynn". This would literally be the title of my autobiography. I think that in another life I was a Parisian woman who ate nothing but chocolate and wore beret's while walking leisurely to the louvre. Legit, I would love to have that life now! Anyway, I have this undying love for beret's of all colors. I mentioned this before, but I love hats. I am avid hat wearer. My favorite hat to wear besides my dough boy hats, are Beret's! There is such something so classic and unique about them. They aren't as common as I would think they would be. Since 80s fashion trends seem to be constantly resurfacing.
Funny story, I wanted to give this skirt away and sell it for a profit, so I went several local consignment shops and no one would buy this skirt. I am still not sure why. It's fairly new and I barely wore it. The most common thing said about the items that I didn't sell was: "It's just a little too loved" whatever that means. I don't think story was funny, but I hope you laughed at my attempt!
Like I've said before I am creating looks that I will try and wear abroad. I don't think It will be warm enough to wear a skirt, but while I am still in Georgia and the weather is still unpredictable I can get away with wearing a skirt. I wanted to diversify my looks and I haven't worn a turtle neck on the blog before, so I kept to classy and simple and wore a Gap turtle with my skirt. It is still fall, but due to global warming I can have my cake and eat it too.
Something that I am looking forward whilst abroad is the weather! I love places that experience proper weather conditions during the correct season. I love how in New York you can experience all four seasons properly. Now here in the south we don't have that luxury. From my little research on the weather in Liverpool, It's cold! And I can't wait! I live for the cold months! WINTER IS COMING! I think that for when I am in Liverpool I will substitute my skirt for jeans or trousers. I will probably have on a scarf and gloves too! Oh! the possibilities!
