Bad and Boujee Hippy: LA series

Happy Thursday everyone! I hope that the start of this week has found you well. For today's look, I have stepped out of my comfort zone a little bit by styling my classic Calvin Klein bra and underwear set with a hippy twist. I thought that since I was in the LA sun I should really try to be "out there" with my looks if that makes any sense? I was definitely channeling my inner SZA, when I decided to sit on the grace and act as if I was this "bad and boujee" hippy.

Funny story, I am actually very self conscious of my body and I have a hard time getting my mind around having certain body parts showing because they aren't "perfect" or "good looking" enough to be on public display, but my desire to post FIRE content is way higher than being in fear of showing off my body. I also think that success only comes out of me moving past my comfort zone and just doing the damn thing, you know? And I think that with my fearless approach I get the best results. And I must admit that I look HOTT in these pics! Lol

Documenting this look and how I truly feel behind the scenes of my pictures is the purpose of this blog to be completely honest. I am documenting how I see fashion and how I work my way through the fashion trends with my insecurities intact, and slowing my insecurities are falling one by one every post that I make and I am more determined now than ever, to love the body that I have and find clothes that fit my body and not the other way around.

As I mentioned before I was inspired by the singer SZA, I will admit I don't listen to her music, but I do have second-hand listening session with my younger sister in the car, when she has control of the aux. I am familiar with her style and I follow her on Instagram. I feel like her style is very simplistic with a slight twist. I remember seeing on her Instagram her wearing a cropped sweatshirt and ripped jeans and just a spice of sass she added some designer heels. It was a cute look and her style is consistently causal bad b*tch chic, in my opinion.

Y'all know I have to tell you about the shenanigans behind getting this picture taken! So, as I have said before Brandi and I were staying at an Airbnb of dreams okay, and our host had an amazing garden with a view and I wanted to take my pictures in the grass barefoot cause the idea screamed LA. But at the same time I'm a total prude and I HAVE to mentally prepare to have my body out days in advance lol, anyway our hosts live on the top floor, which is essentially the main level of the house and we stayed in the renovated basement, so there were several times where I was either too comfortable and walked around with little to no clothes on in the downstairs area, not thinking that they want to live in the own house and walk around their own garden! Lol! So, as my security blanket I had a t-shirt on standby, just in case the cute little family wanted to walk around their garden, while my crazy behind is trying to make it in the fashion world. Lol! ( I've noticed that I've laughed out loud several times, I am actually laughing as I write this, so yeah I'm pretty funny or pretty awkward, you decide!)
