Shoe Addiction: Vans

They say that diamonds are a girls best friend, by they haven't met me. I'm the type of girl that has to have the right pair of shoes to complete my look. Shoes are my ultimate accessory! They can make or break any outfit. I love to be comfortable, yet casual. Vans tend to give me the classy, but "cool as hell" look and that's why I have dedicated some of my life to acquiring as many vans shoes as I possibly can. My collection started off rather small. I was only wearing them because I saw everyone else wearing them, but little did I know how much my love would have grown over the last 5 years. The reason why I like Vans so much is because of their honesty. On their website they have the pros and cons of each shoe. Most shoe companies don't have that and when a shoe doesn't work out for me I would have loved to know what I was getting myself into before I wasted my money. Vans are a classic much needed element if you are trying to achieve a back to basic look.

These are my very first pair of vans that I got my sophomore year of High School. I remembered that I wanted to wear and dress, but couldn't walk in heels so I bought these instead.

Vans: Classic Authentic (Navy) $50

My second pair of vans were purchased purely to get them dirty. I remember thinking when I bought the 'Man, I can't wait to mess these up!" Off-white to me is such a staple in the fall and winter months.

Vans: Classic Authentic (true white) $50

My third pair also have the same purpose as my second pair. There's something about dirty off-white shoes that I love! I can't really place my finger on it, but I like they way they add dimension to any of my all black looks.

Vans: Canvas SK8-Hi (True White) $60

My most recent additions to my little family have been my go-to for the past week! I ordered these online and they came on a Tuesday night. Wednesday-Saturday I kid you not I have been wearing these babies on my feet! At first they were not comfortable around my ankle, but after day two they were like heaven! They are much more comfortable than the Authentic pairs that I have. I have seen these shoes on just about every fashion blogger out there and I was upset that I was so late to the party! These shoes are great! I can't wait to style them in later blog post!

Vans: Old Skool (Black and white) $60

My even more recent pair ( Literally got these over the weekend ahahaha) are the Slip-ons. Every cool cat knows that these shoes are the way to go when you are trying to achieve the effortless look of being put together/mature while having slight kiddy undertones. I think that these shoes will give my great inspiration when I have none. When I am in a rush I can put these on and at least act like I have my life together which is my goal all day every day!
