This week's How-to-Tuesday's is all about Fabric! Chambray is the most comfortable fabric I have in my closet and I have created some looks that I know you will love! Chambray is made for summer, but is a great transitional fabric between the seasons of summer to fall. It's heavy enough to keep you warm in the cooler months, but is also breathable. I have gained most of my inspiration from my moms closet! A mother's touch is all you need to really create your best look! Many of the pieces you see before are from her closet and I have combined my style and her style together to make the ultimate collaboration!

With this first outfit I was really interested on playing with the different colors of denim Chambray and I used one of my strings from another dress to create the chocker I have on. I really liked the color contrast of my chocker and my dress. This look is very effortless looking to me. I feel very chic and put together when I put little to no effort into a look.

In most of my photos I look extremely sad and depressed, but I'm really not! I am trying to give off my model vibes! Anyway, I feel very mature in this look. I think that I could get away with Sunday brunch or a nice lunch date with this look. I feel like if I wore this at night I would need another layer element. Maybe a loose cardigan or something. Out of all of my chambray looks this on is the oldest! I think I've had to for at least 2 years. It still fits, thank God! There is a string that goes around my waist, but I decided to repurpose it in my previous look. I feel very "grown" in the photos. I think that when I wear chambray dresses that I should over accessorize when the color is deeper to create more contrast and dimension to my look.

Sometimes when I am in desperate need of inspiration I always ask my mom. It's something about how she styles her own clothes that I really draw vision from. We kinda like the same style, but I really try to go the minimalist route, but sometimes a pop of color is truly needed. The three looks that I have created are good for both day and night. And it means a lot to me to have my mother's touch in each and every outfit! She is truly one of my biggest inspirations and as a Inbetween girl she has really encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and enjoy the clothes that I have!
