For this weeks How-To I wanted to experiment with a pattern that I love very dearly, Stripes! I have SO many items of clothing that are stripped I can't keep count of them all. Majority of my stripped Items are tops, but I have decided to be adventurous and play with other stripped clothing items!

Skirt: Buffalo Exchange

Top: The Loft

Belt: Jcrew

Shoes: H&M

Bag: Banana Republic

I like styling strips items because I feel like stripes as a pattern can be very classy and timeless. Stripes to me go with just about anything and add a touch a sophistication when you need it! Most of my outfits are relaxed, but I am thinking about investing in more elegant stripped pieces i.e. pants, silk blouses, and maybe even shoes! The possibilities are endless! I think that patterns add a sense of creativity to your wardrobe.

Top: H&M

Belt:The Loft

Skirt: Topshop

Shoes: Public Desire

Majority of my outfits were styled with comfort and hot weather in mind! I like being comfortable more than anything in the world! Stripes have forever been my pattern go-to. There is something about the composition of layered colors that I find very fascinating. I love for stripes does not just stop at Black and I white stripes (even though I have those particular colors the most) I do love colored stripes! I think the brighter the better! I like pairing things and always finding a match or finding where things belong/originate from and to me stripes colors belong together is like a infinite pathway or something. I passion for stripes runs deep if you can not already tell!
