August is here everyone! I love the transition of Summer to Fall! I adore the earth tone colors that mother nature provides for us to enjoy! To celebrate the coming of my favorite season; Fall I have decided to create How-to-Tuesday's! How-to Tuesday's is a way for me to express my clothing journey with you guys a lot more! I want to show how I style particular items that have been in my closet for a while, but I haven't a use for them until now! I will post every Tuesday on this blog and on my Instagram! I will start off with a clothing item or a pair shoes as the foundation of every How-to outfit! This is a exciting commitment that I am about to make to myself and to anyone who may be reading my blog posts! This post will kind of guide me into the consistent fashion post that I would like to make more frequently. The looks that I have styled this Tuesdays encompasses two of my favorite things: The late 80s and early 90s with fall undertones. School is vastly approaching and I want to see what looks I can come up with for the school year! I am very excited to go back to school. I am starting my Sophomore year August 24th and I can't wait to learn something new and continue to grow as a young women! If I haven't said this already I attend Agnes Scott College in Decatur,Georgia. Agnes Scott is an all women's Institution that has started to shape me into a marvelous person!
Anyway, this Tuesday I will focusing on my all white adidas superstar originals that I got when I was in New York last year. I originally wanted the stripped black and white ones, but during the time they had just got back in style and everyone had them and they were sold out, so I settled for the white ones for over year until the black and whites were back in stock. I really like these shoes! I do own both all white and stripped black and white Adidas. I think that having both gives me an advantage when styling adidas's. The shoe itself is old school and my spirit animal is the 80s and 90s fashion, so I like the broad range of fashion styles these shoes offer. I feel that it will be easier to make transitional outfits with these shoes! I find it way more fun to wear sneakers with dresses and skirts than regular slacks and jeans. I pride myself on being more comfortable than fashionable.
The looks that I have styled are very comfortable and cute for back to school vibes! I was surprised by how cute the outfits had become, because most of my items I purchased from were from the Thrift store.
The Thrift store can be a hit or miss for me. I also went to Buffalo Exchange and found some incredible things! I will definitely be hitting up Buffalo Exchange a lot more because they have reasonably priced items that aren't too thrift store and more current fashion trends oriented.
Again, Thank you so much for reading! Until Next time!
