Today was all about sun, sand, and surf! Around 10 am this morning my family and I set our sites for Santa Monica Beach! Since this is my first time going to Santa Monica I thought that it would be smart to get my face ready the night before to prepare for whatever mother nature wanted to slap across my face. The photos below are my holy grail when traveling. They have become major keys to my success toward clearer and more hydrated skin. Now without further ado, I will go through my mini Morning/ Night face routine and beach ready essentials that have made my beach experience sweat-less and fierce!

From left to right: KONGAC cleansing sponge (Sephora), Sephora shea lip mask, Kate Summerville Moisturizer, (Bonus!!!) Laura Mercier foundation primer (Radiance Bronze), Ponds Moisturizer (For dry skin), and last but not least First Aid Beauty pure face cleanser.
I was introduced to the KONGAC cleansing sponge (Sephora) by mom (who is the ultimate skincare and make-up guru!). I will usually wet my face prier to applying my cleanser (First Aid Beauty pure face cleanser). After my cleanser is throughly spread on my face I then apply slight pressure in circular motions across my entire face with the cleansing sponge. This entire process will take 15-20 minutes, but if I am playing Drake's new album "Views", then I maybe 30-40 minutes.( I have factor in all the dance breaks!) So, after I am finished with my cleansing process, I rinse my cleanser off with warm water and dry my face with a face towel. depending on my mood I will apply a mask on either my face or lips to elevate dead skin. My application varies every 2-3 days, depending on if I have breakouts or not. My final step varies between night a day. I prefer to have minimal moisture on face when I wake up in the morning and have to face my day and more moisture at night to replenish what I had lost during the day. So, that is why I alternate my Kate Summerville Moisturizer and Ponds Moisturizer. I noticed that the Kate Summerville Moisturizer is light weight and easy to apply, but at night my best-friend since my freshman year of Highschool Ponds Moisturizer (For dry skin) has saved my life! I will admit that I do have to rub it into my face for a good 5-7 minutes for the product to seep into to my skin, but it is so worth it when I wake up to gorgeous clear skin!
Here is what I wore to the beach today!

Bikini Top and Bottom: Urban Outfitters
Sunnies: Quay Australia
Sandals: Gap/ Black Birkenstocks (Even though the Tan sandals are SUPER cute, they are NOT comfortable or practical when walking along Santa Monica, I switched immediately!)
Polaroid Camera: Urban Outfitters
Below is my beach set up!

We stayed in the sand for 30 minutes and got super hungry and ate burgers and fries at Perry's Cafe (Along side the beach boardwalk). The burgers were massive and oh so yummy! All in all, Santa Monica was a blast! Thank you so much for reading!!!
