Endless Summer

When traveling there are two things you must do. Number 1: take risks and Number 2: You MUST adapt to your surroundings! Sunny LA has already offered me its beautifully warm weather, but within that same outreached hand the merciless sun comes along and slaps my SPF50 prepared face with the "not in my house!" attitude. My "aloofness" captured within the photographs below is actually a disguise. I can assure you that I was having a meltdown!
The looks that I will be describing today is actually the launch of my 7 day vacation! For the next 7 days I will be documenting my "preparedness" and my adaptable outfits. Today's look is inspired by a picture that I came across on Pinterest (Pinterest has been a strong addiction of mine since 2012)!
I actually purchased this dress before I saw this photo. I am really into the minimalist style. I would say that minimalist look is a "trend", but it's honestly more of a lifestyle choice to me. I have always struggled with "finding myself" in the fashion world and the minimalist style suits not only my personality, but I find myself gravitating towards earth tones and black and whites.
These looks that you see before you are affordable, yet questionable when you take a closer look. The number 1 question you should be asking yourself is why the hell would someone wear jean culottes during peak roasting hours in LA? The answer to that question is that my desire to capture a dream look that I had in my head was all I could think about. I am girl on mission!
Look 1: Sunrise

I am conquering from within.

Look 2: Urth

Fashion is not what I see, but what I make others see.

I seek to be worth knowing rather than be well known.

LOOK 3 : FREEDOM

That was then and this is now.
